Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in system-level modelling, implementing of algorithms and simulation of digital cellular communication systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of receiver lineup, link-level budgeting from base station to digital baseband.
  • Strong knowledge of cellular radio/3GPP specification for LTE and 5G NR radio access and physical layer.
  • Solid understanding of RF and baseband impairments and evaluation of system performance.
  • Expertise in Matlab and object oriented programming language like C++, Python is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skill.
  • Self-confident appearance and ability to collaborate and communicate in multi-cultural global team.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English language is required.

Description

In this role as a RF Receiver System Engineer you will be a part of an experienced system engineering team that is tasked with driving innovation of cellular transceiver architectures across the whole cellular frequency range. You will work on end-to-end modelling and simulation of cellular RF receiver line-up in close collaboration with cellular baseband and RF circuit design team. As an individual contributor you will evaluate the fundamental targets for receiver system performance, ultimately promote collaboration between analog RF and digital signal processing. Occasional travel including international may be required.

Education & Experience

Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent. You shall bring dedicated experience from your master thesis, internship or specific work assignment.
