Job description Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning computers, OS X operating system and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also spearheading the digital media revolution with its iPod portable music and video players and iTunes online store, and has entered the mobile phone market with its revolutionary iPhone.

Apple Computer is seeking awesome software engineers to build new Mac and iPhone applications. Our engineers work in Apple's Applications Group, responsible for the industry-leading iWork and iLife suites.




Skills, Education, and Experience Required

- A passion for user interface and pride in attention to detail
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills (preferably with OS X or iPhone)
- Strong background in linear algebra
- Experience with OpenGL or OpenGL ES and an understanding of the OpenGL graphics pipeline
- A track record of shipping products
- Creative, professional, proactive, interested in new technologies
- BS Computer Science or equivalent

The ideal candidate will also have:

- Experience working in a team environment
- Proficiency in C++ or Objective-C++
- Comfortable writing and debugging OpenGL shaders
