As a member of the Quality & Technology engineering team you will help drive quality management initiatives and performance at our Repair Centre (RC) located in Ostrava, Czech Republic. You are responsible for service quality at our new Mac repair depot in Europe, which will receive units to repair from all over Europe. In this role, you will have responsibility for developing and implementing the quality systems for the diagnostics and repair of all our Mac portable products. You will collaborate closely with several teams (AppleCare & vendor) on a cross-functional basis to review KPI’s, find opportunities, develop and implement solutions. Therefore strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills very important to succeed You will establish and review key performance indicators with the site team on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to drive performance and find opportunities for improvement that successfully achieve program objectives.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with multiple global stakeholders
  • You can balance complex projects with quickly shifting priorities
  • Have a background in, or understanding of quality, electronic or manufacturing engineering
  • Bring high energy and are highly motivated, with the enthusiasm to drive issues to closure
  • Possess a high technical proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing Apple products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global cross-functional team
  • Comfortable asking questions, with natural initiative and follow-through
  • Strong sense of ownership and resourcefulness
  • Technical aptitude, tech-savvy and able to grasp new-to-you processes at a rapid pace
  • Strong organisational skills
