In this role you will be responsible to design and implement software for generating real-life loads and measuring SOC performance and QoS.
You will lead a small team of engineers developing complex software flows and debug findings with Platform Architects.
Key Qualifications
- 8+ years of low level embedded software design and implementation or silicon validation.
- 2+ years as team leader.
- Experience and proficiency in C and Python.
- Knowledge in SoC and Memory Subsystem.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience in embedded software development environments (RTOS, Linux)
- Strong debug skills
Description
Design and implement firmware and test application for developing and validating Apple’s next generation SoCs.
Lead a team of firmware engineers.
Work closely with SoC design, architecture and other software teams to accomplish coverage and validation.
Actively participate in the bringup of new products. Debug complex system-wide issues. Debug operational firmware functionality, interoperability, and Memory subsystem QoS issues.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
