JOB SUMMARY
With the growth of Apple, we have created new opportunities for individuals to work on the most exciting new products introduced by Apple. We are seeking for individual that meet the following criteria to join us. This position will work closely with various operations & engineering team to create and develop innovative solutions via Machine Learning (ML) development for manufacturing test & factory test management
Key Qualifications
- - Proven experience in modern machine learning pipelines and architectures. Understands data collection, machine learning modeling development, and run-time challenges
- - Proven experience as a design or design validation engineer or relevant engineering experience and background
- - Solid understanding of HW/SW architecture and interoperability of a sophisticated system. Fundamental EE knowledge is a requirement
- - Excellent understanding of Computer Vision inspection methodologies
- - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- - Excellent interpersonal skills with proficient spoken and written in both English and Chinese
- - Proven track record to work in a quick changing environment, independently and to deliver high quality solutions to tight schedules
Description
- Responsible for leading test & inspection station design, development and solution via machine learning with excellent reliability and scalability for operations
- Responsible for leading all the ongoing factory test & Inspection process and procedures, for new product introduction from prototype to mass production.
- Specifying/implementing test and inspection process control and data collection, detailing all the ongoing test and inspection tasks.
- Interact with internal groups at Apple to ensure that tests are being performed adequately and on time. Be the key liaison between our organization and our Contract Manufacturers
- This position requires ability to deal with dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring decision-making with ambiguous information.
Education & Experience
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Electronics/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years experience of machine learning research or development.
