In this role, as a Material Management Specialist you will be responsible for NPI build material readiness and inventory management for new products and technology development.

Description

Manage and support material flow for New Process Introduction (NPI) projects. The role includes overseeing both direct and indirect BOM (Bill of Materials) material inventories, coordinating shipments, managing process related consumables and ensuring continuous improvement of material operations. Preferred candidate is a strategic problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to respond on changes and assist NPI team for engineering development builds. Key responsibilities are as follow: - Direct BOM Material Inventory: - Receive, track, and organize incoming materials. - Manage packaging pending for quality inspection (IQC). - Endorse materials to Direct Responsible Individuals (DRIs) or kitting area. - Maintain and organize material inventory, including IQC, build, and remaining stock. - Plan and kit materials per BOM/configuration at the respective line racks. - Indirect BOM/Miscellaneous Material Inventory: - Consolidate and manage indirect BOM materials. - Manage the purchasing and inventory of process-related consumables. - Shipment Coordination: - Prepare DHL shipment forms. - Handle packaging and shipment logistics, including secure shipments. - Process Improvement: - Continuously enhance material system flow and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma in manufacturing management or equivalent experience / skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in supply chain management or logistics, specifically in inventory management, shipping, and handling of both direct and indirect materials.
