Description

In this role, you will work in a lab environment, be responsible for using your engineering and scientific knowledge, and top-end equipment to figure out the root cause of product failure and recommend corrective actions, as well as present the findings to global teams and executives: - Understand the failure background and design the investigation plan - Conduct the investigation, including but not limited to operating all kinds of advanced material characterization tools - Report your findings and discuss or debate with your colleagues on the next steps, conclusions, and corrective actions - Present the data in global meetings and/or executive reviews

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in material science, PVD, metallurgy, thin film or related discipline
  • Experienced in using material analysis tools such as SEM, FTIR, FIB, etc.
  • Fluent English, highly effective communication skills including the ability to seek out direction, listen to feedback, as well as communicate complex findings in a concise and understandable form
