The iOS QA team is looking for talented QA Engineer with a real passion for customer experience, high attention to details and a deep interest in software quality. You will be working on tests of new and existing features as well as improvements in processes and development of tools and automation in order to make an impact on the quality of iOS and macOS.

Key Qualifications

  • - Experience working in Software testing/QA
  • - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, software development lifecycle and processes
  • - Passion for testing, testing methodologies, testing technologies and test automation development
  • - Ability to investigate and debug difficult problems
  • - Excellent communication skills
  • - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • - Knowledge in one or more Scripting or Programming Languages including Python, Javascript or Shell, Swift and Objective C
  • - Hands-on experience with automated testing with the ability to write and execute automated tests and interpret results

Description

Our group is focused on quality of Apple operating systems, system integration testing and evaluation of user experience. We are looking for someone who is a creative thinker, strong problem solver and has ability to investigate complex problems. Your responsibilities will include building test plans for manual and automated testing, implementation of automated test cases, performing tests and reporting results from testing. You will be involved in evaluation of customer impact and escalation of reported issues. You will be developing automated testing frameworks and tools to improve our testing capabilities. You will take part in search for new ways for assessing and representing quality of software. Excellent interpersonal skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management and other organisations within Apple.

Education & Experience

- BS/MS degree in Software design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Additional Requirements

  • - Experience with iOS and macOS
  • - Programming skills and experience in Objective-C/C++/C/Swift
  • - Experience with with Xcode and XCTest
