This role will develop and lead delivery of a focused PR strategy to actively communicate Apple’s contribution to Germany and wider society, focused on key areas such as our economic contribution, education, customer privacy, support for developers and environmental leadership.

Key Qualifications

  • You have strong people management and influencing skills
  • Considerable experience in media relations preferably working for a global consumer brand
  • You are creative and visionary and also able to implement
  • You have developed a strong network of high level media contacts
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • You are a self starter and enjoy collaborating as part of a team
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment and with government affairs, legal and business governance teams
  • Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions
  • Highly motivated and passionate about Apple
  • Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English

Description

Develop and implement strategic plans that support the overall business priorities in Germany and support positive customer perception locally Responsible for proactively managing media activities in Germany to support and drive understanding of Apple’s values and product offerings Build and maintain relationships with key national and regional business, political and consumer media Work collaboratively with the wider management team in Germany, Europe/worldwide and cross functional teams to build and maintain relationships relevant to the role Provide timely reporting on all aspects of the role and manage overall budget Domestic and international travel is required

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree/University education preferred
