We are looking to hire a working student in a group at Apple that develops Power Management Units that will be used in Apple mobile devices. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting an engineering team with various tasks.

Key Qualifications

  • - Basic experience in lab measurements and related lab characterization
  • - Basic knowledge of measurement automation in Python and Matlab
  • - Familiar with lab equipment like multimeter, real-time scope and network analyzer
  • - Characterization of passive components (inductors / capacitors)
  • - Team work and communication skills

In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for challenging design and verification topics as a member of a cross-functional team of experts in a leading-edge technical environment. The position opens up the opportunity to gain a broad insight into leading-edge communications products. One of your focus will be to operate an existing, automated measurement setup for passive components in Matlab and migrate it into Python programming language. Another key aspect is to support the team in lab management, e.g. distribution and tracking of internal hardware / equipment.

Education & Experience

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Degree program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
