As part of the prototyping team, you will develop and bring-up pre-Silicon prototypes of complex SOCs.

Key Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of CPU & SOC architecture/design and industry standard interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of FPGA tool flows for synthesis, partitioning and place & route (e.g. Certify, Synplify, Identify, ISE, Vivado, etc.)
  • Experience with multi-FPGA partitioning and constraining of synthesis as well as design optimization with respect to FPGA limitations
  • You are experienced in scripting/programming - ideally Unix, perl, python, Tcl, C, C++ including low-level programming (firmware) of complex computer systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a creative approach and the desire to tackle diverse challenges
  • Hardware/system design, tools, debug, lab experience and vendor interfaces would be beneficial
  • Experience with pioneering FPGA devices such as Xilinx UltraScale is beneficial
  • Solid knowledge of Verilog, system-Verilog, test-benches, simulation, automation and debug would be a plus

Description

- Partnering closely with design & micro-architecture teams to understand the functional & performance goals of the SOC design. - You will review SOC specifications, develop prototyping plans and create prototype specifications together with your colleagues. - Working on synthesis, place & route, timing optimization and develop plans for custom hardware. - Supporting multi-functional engineering efforts from hardware to software development.

Education & Experience

Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or related) is required.
