The Experiences Platform team delivers developer and end user experiences for Maps and Find My. We are passionate about creating exciting and awe-inspiring new features for the Maps platform, and then scaling these features to our vast developer community. We’re looking for an extraordinary Program Manager to join us. Program Managers at Maps deliver the right feature at the right time. It’s a hands-on, multi-functional, highly-engaged job. A good PM is the beating heart of their team. They are curious, scrappy, and thrive in an ambiguous environment. For this role, we’re looking for a Program Manager who can deliver developer and end user scenarios. Someone who feels comfortable building delightful end user experiences and empowering our Maps developers to do the same. Someone to handle our trickiest, hardest projects. To be responsible for a large portfolio of work. To wrangle huge amounts of detail. And to ensure that the right decisions are being made by the right people, all the time. In this role, you will keep your eyes on the vision and your hands in the details. You'll engage with the developer community and understand how to meet their unique needs. You'll get stuff built. You’ll plan. Prioritize. Coordinate. Drive. And ship.

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Program Management experience with developer and consumer-facing products.
  • Hands-on experience building and delivering client software and Software Development Kits (SDKs).
  • Hands-on experience building and delivering web services and APIs.
  • Clear track record of project delivery: high quality, and on time.
  • Extraordinary leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Developer and customer engagement and outreach experience a serious plus.
  • Hands-on experience working with or designing APIs a serious plus.
  • Mapping or GIS background a plus.
  • International product development experience a plus.

Specifically, you will: - Deliver the right set of features for our customers, on time and with high quality. - Drive all aspects of the software development process: determine requirements, scope work, develop a plan, generate a schedule, assemble a team, execute, and ship. - Work cross-functionally across Maps and Apple to leverage the collective skills and intelligence of our people. - Make critical decisions and tradeoffs to ensure your projects are successful. - Resolve conflicts, troubleshoot, and unblock issues. - Communicate with every level of our organization, from individual contributors to executives. - Demonstrate high integrity and strong values, every single day.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
