The Apple Beats team is looking for a Program Manager to head up LiveOn for our next generation programs. The LiveOn Program Manager will manage the enablement of unreleased products to be “lived on” by Apple employees outside of labs, networks and campuses. Our goal is to generate actionable data, surface issues along with gathering feedback so those that make the best products in the world can make them even better. The candidate will be joining with the expectations of being a key contributor in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You should demonstrate high integrity, high energy and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment. You'll be involved in every aspect of a LiveOn program from inception to close. You will need to build strong collaborative relationships and calmly manage any associated conflicts along the way. Each LiveOn program is different focusing on the key objectives of each product or ecosystem that the team is developing. Key Qualifications

  • Meticulous attention to detail and the customer’s experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across diverse technologies/products in a dynamic, hands-on and creative environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to build user study programs, present research findings and recommendations to all levels of partners, including executive management.
  • Strong project management experience and a solid understanding of quality management specifically problem solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis and statistical analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of product development (Hardware + Software) and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings
  • Experience driving and delivering critical project features which involve integration with multiple different teams
  • Collaboration: You are able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities
  • Excellent data presentation, communication and leadership skills (verbal and written) with large audiences
  • Ability to analyze large datasets is needed
  • 5+ Years experience in Hardware/Software (Human studies preferred)


In this role, you will be involved in shaping future products at Apple. We stretch across the development process and interact with development teams, technology teams and a multitude of passionate employees out testing and reporting on unreleased prototype hardware and software.

Education & Experience

BS/MS degree in Engineering, Data or Human Factors or equivalent experience
