Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. In this role, you will be part of the Global Business Operations team, with a particular focus on Retail Contact Center performance and decision support. This position will have a direct role in shaping the reporting infrastructure and roadmap of the Retail Customer Care organization. The role requires advanced Tableau skills to develop and own reporting for contact center performance metrics and analytics.

Description

Work as Individual contributor with comprehensive understanding of data visualisation best practices. Have full ownership of developing, enhancing and maintaining Tableau Dashboards, extracts and their schedules along with strong understanding of SQL and Tableau Prep for data preparation. 

- Create interactive and user friendly dashboards and reports in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server to provide. meaningful insights and telling story that guides decision making. 

- Verify data accuracy and consistency by working closely with data engineers and analysts. 

- Diagnose and resolve any problems related to performance or data issues in data sources, dashboards, or reports. 

- Develop reporting access strategy and implement and maintain user access accordingly to plan

. - As a subject matter expert on Tableau, learn new features and techniques and help expand the knowledge of fellow team members in the organization. 

- Working closely with partners to understand and translate their business requirements into Tableau dashboards' functional specifications. 

- Engage in impactful work and demonstrate storytelling to effectively communicate the work to leadership. 

- Occasional meetings with peers and cross-functional teams in Americas, EMEIA and APAC during overlapping business hours.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in operations, analytics, management consulting, corporate strategy, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of proven experience in developing and working on Tableau driven dashboards, analytics
  • Advanced proficiency with Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop and Server
  • Excellent knowledge of database concepts and extensive hands-on experience working with SQL
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, including ability to explain complex data and charts in a concise manner to large cross-functional audiences
  • Proven problem-solving and cross-functional project work experience

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in operations, analytics, management consulting, corporate strategy, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, statistics, economics or other quantitative area, Master Degree a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Python preferred
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to balance multiple projects and meet timelines
  • Ability to stay positive in high stress situations and multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Experience developing relationships with senior collaborators
