Description

Would you like to play a meaningful role in ensuring operational and financial success for Apple? We are a highly influential group within Apple, challenged to scale at the pace of the company’s overall growth. We develop, communicate, and implement end-to- end product demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries for a current or future product line. - Analyze consumer and market data, product order bookings, backlog, and billings data. Identify areas of opportunity and risks - Forecast demand, color mix and channel inventory to develop weekly, quarterly and lifetime demand and supply plans - Partner closely with internal and external teams to ensure sales and supply plans are set and implemented to fulfill consumer demand and efficiently maximize the market opportunities - Present product status updates on a weekly basis to management team - Participate in various cross functional development initiatives to drive operational improvements and identify new product/market opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA (or Masters Degree with an analytics emphasis in Data Science, Mathematics, etc)
  • Bachelors Degree in either an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Materials), Supply Chain, Mathematics, Data Science (or related)
  • 1+ year of experience in fields that demand sophisticated quantitative analysis such as finance, data analytics/science, or consulting
  • 1+ years experience with advanced analytics using tools such as python/SQL or advanced excel (pivot tables, VBA, v lookups, etc)
  • 1+ years of experience in product planning, production control, inventory management, or production/manufacturing operations
