The Channel Program Manager (CPM) will work closely with the Value Added Distributor (VAD) to ensure planning and deployment of Apple branded and non-branded programs, as well as marketing activities with key resellers, across all channels in Egypt. Programs should drive new customer acquisition and retention of current customer base through Apple’s channel partners, through managing merchandising programs, demand generation and training programs. The CPM is also responsible for the flawless execution of New Product Introductions (NPIs) launches Applicants must have a strategic mind-set, with several years experience working in a trade-marketing environment. The CPM will report to the Head of RoME Region and be part of the MEA SP&O (Sales Planning & Operations) community. Department: RoME team Reporting to: Head of RoME Region Travel: +50% of time

Key Qualifications

  • Substantial trade / channel marketing experience with a strong brand
  • Financial planning experience, with understanding of budget limitations and management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in working with distributors, retailers and resellers
  • Work to deadlines and under pressure with ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously

Branded Programs Deployment (APR, AS, White+) Develop plans and strategies in cooperation with Sales Account Executives & MEA SP&O for driving Apple Branded Programs coverage across multiple consumer channels in Egypt. Develop execution plans and select and negotiate the right POS and in-store space to roll out Branded programs. Be on site with external vendors during installations/removal of programs. Work closely with sales team to ensure programs deliver on the ROIs and drive sales growth. Ongoing Merchandising & Maintenance Drive world-class merchandising deployment in consumer electronic retail, manage POS performance, execution of demand generation in close cooperation with the retail partners. Develop Merchandising trackers and processes to ensure full visibility of the program status at any given time. Improve Apple Share of Voice within the Key Retailers and ensure all Apple Demos & displays are within Apple guidelines. Develop and execute maintenance plans with the relevant Agencies and in cooperation with the Apple central teams on all Apple programs. Consumer Connection Plan & drive execution of impactful Marketing campaigns with the key resellers by product line ensuring strict compliance with Apple brand guidelines. Manage the retail marketing calendar and plan ahead in anticipation of key events. Generate & consolidate Market insights to be utilized for better Marketing plans and execution Multibrand AAR & Monobrand AAR Implement the new Monobrand and Multibrand AAR programs with key resellers across both Organized and Independent channels in Egypt. In coordination with MEA SP&O, develop the PnL, business case, the store brief and secure the location for the Monobrand AAR program Share feedback, updates, challenges and learnings with the MEA SP&O Team. Others MS & Audit follow up and score review with partners as well as developing the action plan for better consumer experience within Branded programs Coordinate the various Programs initiatives with the RoME Sales team, VAD, MEA SP&O team and central teams. Ensuring all Digital content in place across programs (DCOTA, DEMO Content, SW Updates, T&P) Collect Market insights for use across the RoME team and in updates for the 3 year Plans & QBR’s

Education & Experience

Degree level educated. Fluent English is required, Arabic would be a plus.
