You will support our MEA operations and business leaders with a key focus on business development in these territories. You will partner with MEA controller to provide decision making support for revenue, investments (fixtures, programs, Opex) and headcount planning, with a view to improving performance and return on investments. You will also monitor investment execution, review financial exceptions and support strategic initiatives for the territories. The role is based in Dubai and will also require some travel within the region to support the in-country teams as well as the local finance peers. The role reports to the Middle East (ME) Financial Controller. You are the principal finance business partner for the region and will need to leverage support from the extended central finance teams in DF&A, FP&A and ME team.

Key Qualifications

  • Due to the nature and criticality of this role, we are looking for an individual with a proven record of success in a comparable environment.
  • You will be well versed in Channel Sales in particular and are likely to come from a complex, fast paced, matrix driven business and be able to demonstrate how you have successfully led a finance team.

Annual planning process and mid- to long-term forecasting Quarterly planning processes – units, Opex / investments, headcount and target setting Participate in forecast process Build insight on business performance and provide decision support Market analysis providing insight on total market size, market, competitor and channel profitability Formulate and implement recommendations Maximise commercial opportunities with local Sales teams Actively participate in demand generation and sales growth opportunities including large deals review and analysis Pre and post decision support including follow up of outcome Lead product transition management and support to central and local teams Monitor headcount, programs, channel incentives and cost of sales Channel expansion, development and rationalisation Control processes across units (weekly business forecast and performance reviews), opex, deal desk, marketing development funds, point of sale investments and headcount. Support Credit & Collections teams with critical issues and channel credit related matters Cross functional teamwork

Education & Experience

Qualified Accountant or an accounting qualification (Degree/ MBA)
