We have a wonderful opportunity for Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Camera/depth sensing as part of our Product Technical Operations for Korea. In this role, you will take the lead in driving technical, operational and quality issues related to camera /depth sensing from the earliest stages of NPI, engineering builds, ramp up and sustaining product lifecycles. You will work with camera/depth module design and process teams to quickly resolve technical and operational issues and interface between sub-component vendors and downstream module integrators. Key Qualifications

  • Proven technical skills and deep understanding of end to end manufacturing processes for small foam factor electrical-mechanical modules, from SMT, Assembly to Test, and Pack-out
  • Minimum 8 years experiences in an engineering/technical role, with extensive exposures to factory management, scaling/bringing up high volume production lines
  • Detailed understanding of manufacturing process design, DFX, ramp/capacity planning, line balancing, material handling
  • Proficient in yield loss/failure analysis, trouble shooting with critical thinking, effective with statistical analysis approach, MSA, Cpk, stack up analysis, PFMEA, commonality check etc
  • Data driven, understanding data collection techniques, able to elaborate issues and convey potential solutions to multi-functional teams with collected data
  • Collaboration with Process and quality teams to review and approve manufacturing Quality Control Plans (tests, methods, sample sizes, pass/fail criteria). Ensure cosmetic standards are aligned with module integrator
  • Collaboration with Hardware engineering teams on optimizing component designs and processes
  • Audit and approval for mass production (MP) readiness with quality team
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, be able to optimally collaborate with internal x-functional teams, external CMs, and equipment vendors is the key
  • Dedicated, highly motivated and able to drive closure of issues across different teams, internal/external organizations, different cultures
  • Excellent English language skills required / Proficient Korean language skill is preferred
  • Experience in process design and optics/semiconductors industry experiences are highly preferred

Description

• Provide total ownership of CM factory, production performance, yield, outputs, and readiness to ramp peak volume. • Drive process converge, FACA & line bring ups, operational excellence expectations with CMs (contract manufacturers) through direct interaction, effective communication, and continuous improvement efforts. • Supervise CM performance through objective measurement systems as well as audits and on line verification. Implement communication plan, providing summary and corrective action plans through life cycle of products. • Executive level status reports and presentations on regular cadence. Able to clearly explain technical problems, solutions and accomplishments in concise and structured manner. • Able to confidently present concise messages & data to leadership in fast pace environment, call out key concerns and options for resolutions.
