Quality Manager - MFi Certification

As an important part of Apple’s accessories ecosystem quality, we help uphold Apple’s high bar for product quality and develop Made for iPhone (MFi) certification testing programs that scale. We are the MFi Certification team, and we guide Apple’s efforts in ensuring a consistently great experience with third-party accessories such as CarPlay, FindMy, and car keys.

You will manage a team that is responsible for defining the integration test requirements for new features across several accessories programs, and work collaboratively with internal and external partners to identify improvements that will elevate the MFi developer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build, and perform system-level tests.
- Integrate new feature qualification strategies into MFi certification programs.
- Define key performance indicators to monitor and track program-related success metrics, and develop action plans to improve metrics over time.
- Implement structured processes and frameworks for efficient feature validation.
- Champion quality, actively contributing to process improvements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field
- Leadership experience managing quality-focused teams
- Ability to develop metrics that measure team and program-level critical success factors
- Program management experience
- Automotive industry experience
- Experience managing both local and remote team members.
- Experience working with 3rd-party test labs
- Experience managing external partner relationships
- Knowledge of USB, Bluetooth, ultra-wideband, and/or Wi-Fi technologies
- Experience with technology-based compliance programs like USB-IF, Wi-Fi Alliance, or Connected Car Consortium
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
