Job summary As as Sourcing Specialist you are responsible for the initial research and first engagement with candidates to support the hiring needs within our Stores organisation, predominantly for the Specialist and Technical Specialist roles. Sourcing within Apple Retail Recruiting involves building the teams that drive retail store sales; from those employees working in our product or technical zones, to the leadership that spans across a market of many stores. Your role in this team is to focus on external candidate search and engagement for non-leadership positions. Success in your role will be demonstrated by the quality and quantity of candidates which meet the requirements of the business, and by your ability to generate a pipeline of valid talent for our future hiring needs. This is a 6 month contract position, preferably based in France or the UK. There's the possibility for additional extensions to up to 23 months. This role is home based. Excellent French language skills are required.

Description

In your role as Sourcing Specialist, you achieve performance and results through a number of responsibilities, including: • You act proactively to fill current needs as well as understand the value in building a pipeline for future opportunities • You have agility and flexibility in your capacity to support multiple priorities at once • You partner closely with the Sourcers to understand the priorities in your markets. • You provide competency based screening against success criteria identified for retail roles/needs • You build talent pipeline through recruiting, networking, and calling with candidates, including research and networking skills across social groups, data mining and calling candidates unprompted • You take initiative to leverage all resources to unearth the very best talent for each role, and for Apple • You work expertly using candidate database tools and processes to ensure productivity • You lean into challenges and opportunities for improvements by leveraging new innovations and technologies in the Sourcing function • You pursue completion of each role vacancy, including difficult or challenging searches • You sustain strong market awareness through ongoing learning from, and connection with, retail staffing industry • You establish a network to support ability to present candidates quickly into the pipeline • Prior recruiting or sourcing experience in high-end specialty or big- box retailing is ideal

Education & Experience

Proficiency in other EMEA languages would be beneficial
