Apple’s Persona Enrollment UI team is looking for a software engineer to help us build exciting and empowering experiences that push the boundaries of spatial computing. As a core member of our software engineering team you’ll work cross-functionally with partners in design, frameworks, low-level systems teams, and more. You will apply your unique skills and perspectives to solve challenging user experience problems and build incredible apps and experiences that delight, inspire and empower our customers.

Key Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
Experience shipping applications for Apple platforms (macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS).
Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
Detail-oriented in solving problems and building new things.
A love of answering questions through prototyping and experimentation, and then translating these answers into shipping code.
Passion for being part of a fast-paced and diverse organization.

Description

Apps and experiences are at the core of unleashing the potential of spatial computing. As a member of the Persona Enrollment UI team, you will be responsible for the experience that creates the user’s Persona on Apple Vision Pro. You will ideate, develop, and ship groundbreaking experiences that build on top of the unique capabilities of visionOS. Our applications engineering team is uniquely positioned at the intersection of design, frameworks, operating systems, and low-level software — by joining us you will work closely with peers across these functions to deliver life-changing products to our customers. The ideal engineer for this role is looking to demonstrate their experience building apps for Apple's software platforms while growing their skills in an exciting new space. We are looking for engineers who thrive in a dynamic and agile organization chartered with trailblazing the new medium of spatial computing. You focus on the details, treat your work as a reflection of yourself, and look for opportunities to expand your technical knowledge into new domains. You respect debate and enjoy working in groups with different technical and non-technical backgrounds and diverse opinions.

Education & Experience

BS / MS in Computer Science, an equivalent degree, or comparable experience

Additional Requirements

Optional: Familiarity with AR or VR technologies

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
