Do you have a passion for supporting the strategy and evolution of leadership recruiting for Apple Retail? As a Retail Recruiting Leadership Recruiter you are responsible for hiring external Leadership candidates and building leadership pipelines in specific geographic markets. You operate in two equally critical roles; as an ambassador of Apple’s Retail culture to external candidates and as a highly skilled recruiter with deep knowledge of market intelligence. In this role you report directly into the Senior Manager, Leadership Recruiting. Maintaining close and trusted partnerships is critical to the success of your role. You align your recruiting efforts to the overall talent and recruiting strategy of the market by communicating consistently and educating your clients on geographic market trends. You are immersed in the Retail culture and ensure exceptional candidate experiences.
- At least 5 years of full lifecycle recruiting in-house or agency
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting technologies (CRM, social and onboarding tools) and knowledge of competency based interviewing
- Ability to prioritize and reprioritize in a fast paced, high volume recruiting environment
You are responsible for full lifecycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, presenting and hiring external Leadership candidates for your clients You are collaborative and a key partner to the Market Recruiting Lead. You provide market expertise to your clients on the current talent landscape. You contract on recruiting needs to include, establishing timelines, benchmarks, and deliverables. You educate field leadership on available systems, tools, and processes to ensure effective hiring results and a positive candidate journey You drive and maintain candidate pipeline readiness by demonstrating various attraction initiatives including university, inclusion & diversity, and other outreach campaigns. You measure performance through weekly reporting and analytics of headcount changes supporting talent decisions in the market and driving continuous improvement. You are an active participant on team calls, meetings and other communications to stay informed of business priorities. You explore new and different sources of talent to present to the business delivering a diverse candidate pool. You participate in routine discussions with the Market Recruiting Lead for your stores, strategizing and planning immediate and longer term talent needs including new store openings and remodels. You promote a culture of internal talent movement by collaborating with Store Leadership and providing coaching and training in support of internal talent development. You build and maintain strong relationships and strive for timely and impactful communication for candidates, hiring managers, and business partners. You will be the recruitment subject matter expert, who continually demonstrates creative sourcing strategies. You will work consistently to ensure an outstanding candidate experience. You will navigate and overcome any roadblocks in the hiring process through effective use of time and resources. This position is contract, temporary.
Education & Experience
- Experience in developing and delivering effective recruiting strategies
- Skilled at negotiation and delivering successful outcomes
- Experience in and/or understanding of the Retail industry
- You’re fluent in English & French (both written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
