As the Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Business Analyst supporting executive insights, you will be a key member of the I&D analytics team which delivers data-driven insights to support teams, executives and Apple as company deliver on our promise to make the world more inclusive and just. This role provides a unique opportunity to impact the way that our partners and executives understand our workforce and the experiences of our people. This role is based on site in Cupertino, CA.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience deriving insights from data and communicating those insights in a way partners can understand
  • Track record of effectively partnering with a wide-variety of stakeholders to meet their needs
  • Comfort interacting with senior leaders and executives
  • I&D experience preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in analytics and data
  • Proficient in Numbers, Microsoft Excel, or equivalent tools
  • Strong foundation in data modeling, workforce planning or HR analytics experience
  • In-depth understanding of Inclusion & Diversity and talent management practices
  • Uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Stays up-to-date on new technologies and methods across data science and data visualizations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining detail oriented
  • Proficiency in being flexible and adaptable according to the changing needs and priorities of the organization
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building and managing Tableau dashboards

Description

- Partner with key stakeholders to support Executive Team member I&D data requests. - Design and develop I&D analytics projects (e.g., I&D related slides for Board of Directors Meetings), manage and improve reporting frameworks (I&D industry competitive benchmarking), and visualize findings in an intuitive, easily interpreted for executive users. - Perform ad hoc analysis such as custom reports, Tableau dashboards, presentations, and technical documents to support urgent requests and larger initiatives. - Analyze and interprets quantitative and qualitative I&D data to identify key insights and shape global recommendations for future practices. - Follows data quality practices to ensure confidence in analysis and insights provided. - Build and maintain strong knowledge of I&D industry data practices. - Support additional analysis as needed.

Education & Experience

Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • - Experience with SQL, Python or other scripting languages preferred.
  • - Experience with SPSS, SAS or other related programs is preferred.
  • - User experience with Apple hardware and software products is preferred.
  • - Some overnight and international travel may be required.
