The Platform Services & Operations team in Core OS is looking for a Workflow Systems Analyst to design and develop crucial workflow tooling at scale. We enable teams to deliver high quality software through best in class engineering experiences, efficient workflow, data driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement. Your focus is delivering useful data insights, and engaging with partners across the organization to provide coaching in support of workflow initiatives.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Solid working knowledge of Analytics: visualization, statistics, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive)
  • Ability to turn research into insight: develop key metrics, propose policy changes, and deliver action plans to all levels of leadership
  • Advanced Tableau developer
  • Capable SQL user: aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation

Dashboard Developer: visualize key metrics and progress towards goals Analyst: insight and visualization expert for a mature team of Data Scientists and Engineers Iterative dashboard design: presenting to groups, collecting feedback, and enhancing end products Characterize the current state of the workflow: profile complex systems, document them, and target areas for improvement Insights: identify patterns and trends in large data sets Change Agent: working directly with partners drive action — translate insight into wins

Education & Experience

B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Software Development Analytics: CICD, DORA metrics, and LEAN software delivery
  • Experience Software Development: understanding build pipelines, merging, test systems and methods, and the delivery of code
  • Product Ownership: fully-responsible for key results for a project — experience driving efforts and producing concrete results through analytics
  • Project management: plan and drive efforts, working across partner teams towards a unified goal
