You will take part in designing groundbreaking features and experiences for future iOS releases and contribute to the advancement of video streaming technologies, including on the Apple Vision Pro. Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.

Key Qualifications

  • Unix OS fundamentals
  • Prior software development experience
  • Strong coding skills in JS/React, Python and C/C++
  • Debugging and troubleshooting software issues
  • Using system profiling, network analysis tools

Description

As a Triage Automation Engineer, you will work closely with the CoreMedia & AVFoundation framework development teams and be responsible for designing and developing: Tools which reduce manual bug triage time, for instance: log summaries, issue extraction, visual representation (charting) of software performance. Triage automation software, for classes of problems which are amenable to automation using state of the art techniques, including static code analysis, stack trace processing, natural language processing, machine learning.

Education & Experience

BS or MS in CS/CE or equivalent

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $109,000 and $189,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
