The AppleCare Channel Sales Program Manager will be responsible for: You will: - Be an AppleCare product and solutions expert: Be the goto person for creating all AppleCare customer proposition; standard and bespoke. - Evangelize AppleCare features & benefits among internal and external partners - Develop and execute strategic Account Plans in collaboration with the Hardware sales teams - Grow the AppleCare business with existing partners by developing and implementing initiatives across the three levers of Awareness, Advocacy and Offers/Promotions - Expand the AppleCare footprint in market, by winning and onboarding new partners; maintain a healthy pipeline of accounts across different routes to market - Conduct regular business reviews internally and with assigned partner accounts - Constantly screen the market for new opportunities, create business cases/propositions for cross functional stakeholders to secure buy-in for implementation. - Collaborate with key internal partners to achieve results; e.g. AppleCare Bus Dev Worldwide team, AppleCare Service and Support teams, Finance, Legal and Hardware Sales (Country Managers, Route to Market Managers, Account Managers).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the retailer, reseller and carrier channels in Japan. Understanding of the B2C service business and go-to-market strategies for extended service and support agreements.
  • Strong experience of commercial deal development and sales execution
  • Demonstrated ability to build successful partner programs resulting in increased sales
  • Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; in both English and Japanese
  • Strong quantitative and decision-making skills with ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of data into action plans.
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity; able to work with incomplete information on resources, cross functional priorities and timelines
