APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Work cross-functionally with sales, finance and technical teams to help develop new tools, processes and analysis for senior sales/finance executives. Understand and work with complex data sets, generated from equally complex business processes, in order to drive insights. Support the Worldwide Sales and Retail organizations. Analzye large datasets to inform key stakeholders of business opportunities and issues and develop self-service reporting dashboards. Build data pipelines using ELT and ETL to move data from core IT Data Warehouses (e.g. Snowflake) into reporting systems and data lakes (e.g. AWS S3). Automate workflows and the development of data driven solutions. Utilize understanding of data modelling techniques to transform transactional data into analytical data sets. Partner with key sales, retail, and finance leaders to understand analytical needs and translate needs to define technical requirements. Build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for finance leadership using SQL, Python and Tableau. Coordinate with data engineering and IT teams to develop comprehensive technical roadmaps. Manage the long term roadmap for tools, systems, and data the drive analysis and key analytics. Maintain published reports for accuracy and issues. Provide code review and development support to cross functional peers and teammates. Seek opportunities for performance optimization and improvements in existing infrastructure. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $148,699 - $161,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Information Technology and Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related field
- 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Demonstrated ability to contextualize asks from business partners in the context of Corporate Finance (e.g. how will this report or dashboard help inform strategic finance decisions for the overall company).
- Utilize Python to connect to disparate datasources and orchestrate the flow of data from one system to another.
- Use python to build data quality checking mechanisms into data pipelines to ensure data is accurate before allowing reports/dashboards to be distributed to leadership.
- Utilizing data visualization tools to build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for analysts and senior leadership to consume.
- Use understanding of the business and business processes to document nuances in the data, as well as upstream datasources, as a part of establishing robust Data Governance policies.
- lead the Agile Project Management (Jira) practice for projects assigned including backlog grooming, sprint planning to coordinate timelines and dependencies across crossfunctional partners.
- Communicate expected delivery timelines to non-technical business partners to build trust and foster a strong working relationship.
- Interpret work (Advanced SQL) of partner Data Engineering teams to understand upstream data flows, sources of data, and relationships between datasets to ensure proper interpretation of any data sourced from other teams.
