Senior Business Analyst
Apple Arcade is a family-friendly gaming service available on the App Store. Arcade’s incredible catalog is available to play on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, and all 250+ games are free of ads and in-app purchases. Players can step into the shoes of their favorite sports stars in games like NFL Retro Bowl ‘25 or NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, score the highest hand in the poker-inspired, deck-building sensation Balatro+, sneak around as a mischievous Sasquatch in Sneaky Sasquatch, or explore hundreds of other games — both new and old — from their favorite genres.
As a Senior Business Analyst for Apple Arcade, you will play a key role in understanding and driving the business forward. You will analyze overall performance, dive deep into user behavior across acquisition, engagement, and retention, including Apple One and standalone subscriptions, family usage, and more. You will work with Consumer Insights team on consumer research projects and go deep on research data to create customized analyses in a timely manner and drive understanding of Apple Arcade customers. You will identify key retention drivers and develop recommendations to improve business performance by synthesizing operational data and consumer research. You will partner closely with Finance to support forecasting and business planning, as well as provide analytical insights and sizing to evaluate product and business initiatives. You will also stay ahead of industry trends, identify new opportunities to accelerate Apple Arcade’s growth. You will work cross-functionally with teams across Apple to support gaming initiatives.

- 4+ years of relevant experience in games, technology, media, or entertainment industry; subscription service experience and knowledge in subscription specific business analytics preferred.
- Strong Excel and Keynote skills.
- Proficiency in Python to automate and analyze large dataset.
- Ability to synthesize a large amount of information and data to create a clear story digestible to different audiences - business, engineering, executives, product, etc.
- Experience in business planning and forecasting.
- Excellent business sense and the ability to understand and resolve complex business issues.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Plays games regularly, has opinions on what makes great games and always has a list of pending games to play.
- Has strong problem solving skills and willingness to adapt in a highly demanding, collaborative and fast-paced environment with rapidly changing direction and new challenges.
- Has experiences with syndicated data sources (e.g. MRI-Simmons, Newzoo, Game Refinery).
- BA/BS degree in business, finance, data science preferred; equivalent professional, or other academic experience considered.
