This Program Manager role for Supplier Responsibility will support the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs aimed at protecting the labor rights of supplier employees in Apple’s global supply chain, and requires authoritative partner engagement skills. Programs will focus on labor rights awareness raising under international and local laws, the implementation of effective grievance mechanisms, “worker voice” platforms, and the strengthening of labor rights training and protections. In this highly visible role, you will have the change to create a significant impact on the working experience of millions of supply chain employees. You should possess and be able to demonstrate a strong track record in partner engagement and program management, including vendor selection, program design, stakeholder consultation, and program monitoring and evaluation. You should have and maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor rights/“worker voice” program approaches in supply chains and maintain current knowledge of discussions on labor rights protections in international fora such as the ILO, OECD, and other high level standard setting bodies. You have a knack for multi-stakeholder engagement, effectively communicate with the full range of partners from supplier employees and small grassroots advocacy organizations to factory management and labor officials in government and international bodies You have experience of the manufacturing environment and supply chain operations. Description

• Understand international and local legal frameworks, laws and standards, and track updates and emerging issues. • Track emerging technologies, tools and innovative ways to labor and human rights programming, particularly focussed on labor rights and worker voice. • Support program partners and team mates in the design of labor and human rights programs for pilot and at scale. • Work with suppliers and program partners on the ground to implement programs across a range of countries in the Asia-Pacific region. • Monitor and evaluate program impacts and deliverables with the ability to adjust programs to employee or supplier needs, and drive data-based program decisions. • Exercise solid project management skills, including managing vendors, project partners, and engaging Apple Operations across multiple tasks/projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Coordinate field visits and collection of data to support Apple reporting and partner engagement.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor degree or above in related field with 5+ years experience. Equivalent proven experience will be considered.
