Hundreds of millions of people now use Siri to send a message, play their favourite song, or even take a selfie. Now imagine, what you could do here. We're looking for students who love to build cutting edge software. The internship will involve a 3 month assignment in our Software Engineering teams in Cambridge (UK) starting in the summer of 2019. Applications will close on 30th November 2018.

Key Qualifications

  • Object-oriented software design and programming
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C++, Java, Python, Scala, Javascript, etc.
  • Interest in distributed, scalable, online services
  • Experience working in agile software development teams is desirable

Description

Working as part of an extraordinary team, including world-class software engineers, renowned academics, and expert machine learning practitioners we are all passionate about applying groundbreaking techniques to conversational dialogue. You will work on the software services that people interact with when using Siri. You will add user impacting features to Siri and provide the software that supports and integrates our machine learning models within Siri’s architecture to make Siri more intelligent. Based in Cambridge, we work closely with teams across Apple worldwide and are looking for highly talented interns to join our Agile development teams. You will have great technical skills, a drive for high quality software and the ability to innovate creative solutions. Communicating clearly and having the flexibility to quickly ramp-up and learn new technologies will be key to your success. Education & Experience

- Enrolled in a BS, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent.
