  • - Expert understanding of the digital publishing landscape.
  • - Publishing industry experience, either at a retailer, publisher, author management office or media outlet.
  • - Extraordinary specialist book and audiobooks knowledge, in as many genres as possible.
  • - A proven passion for new authors.
  • - Experience planning customer communication and preparing campaigns with partners.
  • - Positive, dedicated and confident with technology.
  • - A university-level degree.
  • - Tried ability to achieve deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • - Be passionately curious beyond personal taste.

Description

You will curate the store to the highest levels of perfection, working with multiple partners under strict time pressure. You'll plans campaigns, editorial concepts, author features and customer communication, not just calling out our favourites, but finding trends in all genres so that every reader always discovers something extraordinary on Apple Books. You will also be used to working in a dynamic environment, will endeavor to be flexible in your approach, be able to juggle multiple deadlines simultaneously and be comfortable with ambiguity. As Editor, you'll be responsible for the day to day relationship with our major book partners by planning campaigns, prices promotions and taking care of operational queries. The role requires someone with excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset. Collaboration is key to success, we are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person who thrives in team environments.
