The Project/Program Manager position is part of the AppleCare BPR team in EMEIA. You will oversee the management of various programs of work relating to Service and the preparation of documentation and schedule of many different, sometimes related, Service projects. You will have a proven track record managing large cross-functional projects in Apple and have at least 5 years experience in program management. Effective and clear communication, risk management, change management, technical aptitude and attention to detail are required.

  • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles
  • Proficient in business process flow diagramming
  • Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions to gather requirements
  • Ability to perform robust business process analysis and recommend solution
  • Literacy with word processing, electronic spreadsheets, and basic project planning tools
  • Process flow drafting skills
  • Consulting background experience is a plus
  • Service support or warranty contract experience preferred
  • EDI experience preferred
  • Customs and Global Trade Compliance experience preferred


You will lead and coordinate a multitude of activities required to make projects successful. You will have a solid ability to lead medium to large size, global projects that are cross-functional in nature, incorporating Apple's best practices for Project / Program Management to ensure consistent delivery of a quality projects. - Manage, plan and organise project activities in a dynamic environment - Develop business project plans/schedules while balancing business needs and expectations - Identify and manage project team to major milestones - Identify and get key business partners to support project roles - Manage project risk throughout the life of the project - Develop and maintain issues logs to ensure accountability for resolution of key issues. - Communicate with the customers to ensure quality of product and service on a regular basis - Prioritise and delegate key project tasks to team members - Ensure the business is prepared for the change - Work with internal customers to get alternatives for key problems - Work with external suppliers to determine best solutions - Writing or editing formal business requirements documents for projects/enhancements - Lead brainstorming sessions to gather requirements - Assist business units in creating quality documents required for project approvals - Complete business case documentation for senior management on selected projects - Knowledge transfer to business unit employees as required - Act as a liaison between the business and technology to ensure business project needs are adequately met with technology solutions - Assist the business to develop strategy for specific business process areas.

Education & Experience

Bachelor degree required, MBA a plus Project Management qualification required
