We are looking for an experienced manual tester to work as part of our was team. In this role you will be responsible for running manual regressions, defining test approaches and test plans for assigned functional test areas, expanding our current test cases and executing required tests. You will own complete functional areas and must be able to define test approaches and strategies, as well as execute functionality, compatibility, Integration and reliability testing. Excellent written and verbal communications is a requirement. Working within our QA team providing robust ad-hoc support to multiple engineering departments within the organisation. Shazam is seeking a regression QA tester to come and support us in delivering a seamless and smooth operation. The main aspect of the role will be to run scheduled regressions for all our platforms as well as provide ad-hoc support to our engineering teams as and when required. During your time with Shazam you can expect to: - Run test cases for full regressions - Help improve test cases execution - Supporting QA teams working on different platforms - Create clear and concise bug reports - Apply exploratory and ad hoc testing to new features coming out The qa engineer is expected to possess the skills necessary for working closely with the engineering team during all aspects of the development process. This position requires an ambitious and dynamic individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a team environment. You are systematic at managing priorities, and communicating progress as well as risk. In addition, this position requires someone who is ‘very detailed oriented’, can juggle scheduled and unscheduled work.
