C&P Support Intern

The IS&T Collaboration & Productivity support intern has responsibility for providing onsite support for Hanover Street, Stockley Park and other UK offices. Our fast-paced, fun team provides user support and services in a fast-growing business, sets desktop standards, and facilitates end-user training. Everyone at Apple depends on the team’s communications skills and attention to detail, come and join us!
- Experience with macOS, iOS and Windows. Be able to provide support and communicate to employees of all job levels, from junior staff up to senior directors. Superb communication skills, verbal and written. Deeply positive relationship ethic and customer support focus. Fluency in English, Additional language a plus.
Provide 2nd & 3rd Level desktop support to Apple internal employees, contractors, and vendors. You will lead the team’s incidents queue and action all incidents within the given SLA. You will work as part of an EMEIA team that actions incidents remotely at all Apple sites across the region. Lead the hardware repair process in region, liaising with our offsite and onsite hardware repair service providers. You will support the onsite managed print solution, and support the internal meeting room check-in system. Support onsite events throughout the year from an IT perspective, including out of hours communication meetings. You will be an active and innovative team member, contributing to development and effectiveness and undertaking other tasks as required. Stay abreast of advances in technology, recommend improvements in technology (hardware and software upgrades), and assist in the evaluation of new techniques and tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
Education & Experience
BSc/MSc/PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Design, or related fields. You are additionally required to return to university after the internship to continue education, or an internship needs to be required for graduation from your university.
