This position’s focus is on the privacy engineering within the Apple Pay team. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that requires experience and expertise managing privacy in complex environments.

You will work across Apple Pay product lines and participate in discussions on the technical implementation of the new requirements in privacy including GDPR. In collaboration with technical specialists in their products and Apple’s legal counsel, you will analyze existing systems and processes against the privacy including GDPR requirements and architect changes when needed to improve compliance with the Regulation. Particular responsibilities will include development of privacy impact assessments, technical risk analyses, and facilitating clarifications to the engineering aspects of the Regulation. You will be working on multiple unrelated topics in any given week, so the ability to learn quickly and an excitement for new things is a must. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with technical compliance (e.g. ISO standards) or public technology policy.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
