The successful candidate will become a member of the Sales Finance team at Apple. With approximately 150 employees based across EMEIA this team works with the Sales function to provide outstanding business and financial support. As a DF&A Analyst you will manage the weekly & quarterly forecast as well as insights and commercial analytics for a designated group of products, countries and key accounts. This will require working closely with many teams across the business, most notably with the assigned local market Sales and Finance teams to build a commercially aware unit forecast and understand market dynamics impacting performance. The forecast and supporting analysis influences both the corporate and operational planning & execution processes. The role will be based in our Hanover Street office in London.

  • - Attention to detail as well as ability to give broad perspective, articulate understanding of sales/commercial/business and offer solutions based advice to problems
  • - Excellent business support and analytical skills as well as planning and organising skills
  • - Very strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with another language an advantage
  • - Pro-active, “Can Do” attitude, taking the initiative to always make operational improvements
  • - Ability to prioritise workload and diligently respond to urgent requests for information
  • - Strong presentation skills within meetings both in person and via remote connection

Description

Prepare country/key account forecasts in close collaboration with sales teams Engage with country/regional sales teams to understand business priorities as well as the short-term and long-term drivers of performance within products, countries and partners Analyse key business trends and share standard methodology examples of campaign or offer execution between sales teams within the region Provide insights into current quarter and Q+1 on performance across product portfolio. Variance analysis of sales performance and local market insight Risk and opportunity management and representation in regional/country reviews Close monitoring of consumer offers live in the market in the Indirect channel
