The WW Digital Channel Team drives the development of digital strategies across Apple channels. It is creating a consistent brand experience in the digital world, whether it is on a partner’s website or on global marketplaces or on social commerce. Our team serves as the centre of expertise on eCommerce and will be instrumental in unlocking Apple’s potential in maximising customer experience, brand presence and sales growth across digital channels. We are seeking a determined and entrepreneurial leader to join our growing business as the Western Europe Digital Leader. This leader will be responsible for driving the presence of Apple products across the major digital platforms across Europe. The successful candidate must be high-energy, proactive, passionate about eCommerce and able to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment. You will lead the execution of Apple’s end-to-end customer experience on the digital platforms across Western Europe focusing on areas such as, merchandising, search, and content optimisation. You will partner with local sales teams to align on the best Customer Experience strategy to maximise Apple’s opportunities on the platform across retailers, carriers and resellers across our consumer Education and Enterprise markets. You will draw insights from web analytics and combine with previous eCommerce expertise to drive business decisions that will grow Apple’s share via digital across our channels.

Key Qualifications

  • Deep experience in eCommerce, Digital or Retail
  • Strong problem solving skills to identify critical issues and opportunities, evaluate options and provide clear recommendations and plans for business growth
  • Experience delivering successful end-to-end digital programs or campaigns through cross functional internal and external teams— from concept to execution to reporting and optimisation
  • Stellar analytical ability with capability to transform online critical metric CX data into impactful insights and execute upon them
  • Strong organisational agility working with and influencing both internal and external teams
  • Excellent people management and leadership track record.
  • Adept at effectively communicating to a wide range of leaders and constituents across functions, organisational levels and cultures; including regular senior executive communications
  • Deep experience working globally across GEOs and teams.
  • Proven ability in leading through influence in a matrix organization - working with Worldwide teams
  • Previous experience with online marketplaces preferred
  • Fluent English, additional European language preferred

Description

Lead our Western Europe Digital Team to help support our Digital initiatives across our wide and varied channel partner base in Europe. Working with the Worldwide Digital teams to define best practice and build our program execution capabilities to support the country teams in their Digital initiatives through the channel partners. Lead GEO Digital engagement sat all levels across the regions to create optimal customer experience and digital sales. Work closely with external digital channel partner and executives, and act in the capacity as the Centre of Excellence to support the Digital initiatives within our channel sales strategy. Establish new industry standards in digital customer experience for Apple. Lead the CX execution team in Western Europe and develop new strategies that create and deploy new and industry leading eCommerce capabilities and inputting into two WW global strategies. Work closely with country sales leads sales to develop innovative digital merchandising strategies for campaigns and new product introductions via the digital channel partners. Utilise online critical metrics, web analytics, and performance metrics to analyse, develop and implement growth programs, insights and opportunities. Partner closely with cross functional leaders and teams in marketing, sales, finance and operations to ensure the digital customer experience.

Education & Experience

BA or equivalent education.
