The Growth Marketing Operations team in Apple Services is looking for an experienced testing professional with expertise in testing software as a service. The User Acceptance Test Lead will be responsible for End to End testing and leading User Acceptance Testing for a particular Line of Business. This role would place you in a dynamic environment with some of the most talented, creative individuals in the industry. This role will take accountability for the overall quality of our customer-facing solutions and play a central role in the interfacing between Products and Engineering teams. They will work in a team that plays a key role in enabling on-device communications and automated messaging for Apple’s media products and services. Key Qualifications

  • 7 - 9+ years in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing with 5 years of experience in leading testing efforts across multiple QA and/or UAT initiatives for a subscription-based service
  • Experience with testing activities across the entire lifecycle of the project from inception to delivery
  • Experience working on End to End testing across multiple applications and developing test plan, test scripts, and coverage matrix for comprehensive testing of the systems under test
  • Experience with leading the co-ordination with multiple Engineering and Product teams to expedite issue prioritisation and resolutions
  • Experience creating written QA/UAT test reports, showcasing test progress, status, test plan completion, defects identified, and associated risks
  • Experience creating detailed test cases and test scenarios providing adequate coverage across functional, integration, End to End, Data, and Regression test of the systems
  • Responsible for ensuring all bugs, defects, enhancements, requirements are recorded in an efficient, informative, and timely manner
  • You’ve worked closely with in-house QA/UAT teams to resolve bugs and actively contribute to operations planning, retrospectives, and release readiness
  • Developing automation scripts for End to End scenarios and maintaining the automation suites
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, and Javascript (Node.JS) to automate testing
  • Calm under pressure and a proactive and self-starting attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and experience presenting to bigger teams and executives
  • Highly organized, disciplined and methodical when approaching testing with the ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced, start-up environment with the curiosity to develop ways to improve the UAT/QA process


The ideal person will bring experience in online services (SAAS), testing on mobile devices and leading testing activities across multiple programs. Your primary focus will be to perform End to End Test design, test execution, troubleshooting, and analysing issues, and working cross-functionally with engineering teams to prioritise issue resolutions. This role requires a highly motivated quality professional who is detail-oriented and passionate about growing Apple Services. Experience working across different stakeholders including Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Product Management, working on campaigns and marketing journeys Develop test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test scripts - providing a high level of test coverage across existing functionalities and new features You have experience testing on-device experiences for users on a wide range of mobile applications Ability to work on multiple initiatives and prioritise feature and campaign testing with a passion for documentation and on-time delivery of End to End testing Comfortable providing the testing scope/overview documentation, test plan, test results, and associated tickets for resolution/prioritisation Liaison with Engineering and Product teams to facilitate issue prioritisation and resolutions Respond quickly to Production issues and explore ways to reproduce defects, update tickets and supervise the status so all information is current Experience with design and build of automation frameworks for End to End testing across mobile, web, and API based systems You understand and have developed automation scripts to improve testing efficiencies (including associated reporting showing performance of script) Participate in conceptualising and implementing process improvement and quality improvement initiatives across the lifecycle

Education & Experience

BA/BS preferred, or equivalent work experience
