Apple seeks a Senior PR Leader, Studio Communications for its original video subscription service, Apple TV+, featuring original shows, movies and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers. The role will involve developing and managing studio communications, programming partnerships, launches and momentum programmes, as well as overseeing European awards publicity, across feature films, television series and children’s programming. This is leadership position, managing the European Apple TV+ publicity team, based in London. The role works in close collaboration with the head of Apple TV+ PR, based in LA.

Key Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have executive level experience in entertainment communications.
  • Strong and positive relationships in the entertainment, trade, business and consumer space, as well as with talent/producer representatives.
  • International experience preferred, both across Europe and alongside headquartered teams in the US.
  • Extensive time spent in a strategic leadership role in a publicity department and/or at a PR agency, ideally with experience of being responsible for studio communications, awards, publicity and strategy.
  • You will be a highly effective collaborator, able to work cross functionally across teams and geographies.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to deal and the ability to lead multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Adept at managing communications from start to finish.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, able to develop pitches and press materials.
  • Ability to quickly analyse media coverage and sentiment and apply insights to the team’s work.
  • Effectively lead and be a part of the larger publicity team. Work well under pressure and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the industry trends and television and film landscape.


This highly creative and dynamic storyteller will lead and over time, build a team to develop and deliver strategic communications across Apple Studios and Apple Original programming. They will also create, shape and direct awards publicity campaigns, and set European PR strategy, through multiple earned media channels. Responsibilities include helping plan and implement launches, programme deals and momentum activities for Apple TV+, writing and developing thoughtful pitches and press materials, drafting and managing announcements, media briefings, and identifying and handling issues across global productions in a continuous news cycle. Additionally, we need you to collaborate with production partners, producers, talent representatives and executives to accomplish goals. This publicity professional will play a critical role in communicating with producers, talent, representatives and production company partners during production up to and beyond launch and throughout awards seasons. The position will focus on creating cultural moments and delivering strategic, significant awards publicity campaigns. Draft and deliver effective public relations plans. Collaborate with showrunners, filmmakers, talent and internal teams to secure coverage in a wide range of media. Oversee budgets and publicity professionals. The ideal candidate should have a keen ability to focus on and simplify key priorities and opportunities, complete projects with relentless attention to detail, deeply understand the customer experience and translate that into highly relevant and engaging communications.
