Key Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of transistor-level design
  • Experience with design and validation of complex analog/mixed-signal IPs
  • Solid understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, filters, bandgap references, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, OpAmps, comparators and switched-cap circuits
  • Deep knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design techniques such as small-signal analysis, feedback loop theory and noise analysis
  • Deep knowledge of analog/mixed-signal concepts such as mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power and low-noise techniques
  • Experience with analog/mixed-signal IC development from definition to production including layout supervision, lab evaluation and characterization
  • Experience in silicon characterization and debugging of mixed-signal circuits, including experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and signal generators
  • Experience with SERDES is a plus
  • Design experience in FinFet CMOS technology is a plus
  • Experience with Verilog-A/AMS behavioral modeling is a plus
  • Proficiency in English language is required

Description

Design data converters and other analog/mixed-signal circuits as IP deliveries. Work with multi-functional teams to architect and implement state-of-the-art analog/mixed-signal circuits from initial concept towards high volume production. Drive mask design to implement layout view of designs. Coordinate with IP consumers, define production/bench-level test plans, and conduct design reviews of blocks with peers/management to show that the design meets specification targets and requirements.

Education & Experience

Ph.D/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
