The Partner Communications Manager leads the marketing communications strategy, planning and execution for Apple products and services in the Partner (indirect) channel. This team drives the development of partner journey, campaigns, and creative with some of the biggest brands across the world, shaping how Apple shows up within every touchpoint in the partners’ space, including all advertising, physical and digital environments.

Description

This role is responsible for driving marketing innovation and raising the creative bar with indirect Channel Partners, whilst upholding the integrity of the Apple brand. Key responsibilities include: - Drive innovative partner strategies and impactful creative work through a deep understanding of the Apple brand, our partner’s brands, commercial priorities, market trends and challenges - Work across the global organisation to understand both macro and comms trends for Apple product and services. Synthesise takeaways into insights to drive optimisation of future advertising, digital and in-store efforts - Work with Global (Geo) Partner Communications teams to identify and develop strategies and communication plans, including advertising, digital channels and the partner’s owned marketing channels in-store and online - Develop and drive global processes, across Apple products and services, to improve the quality and effectiveness of the partner work as well as the efficiency of the path to get there - Collaborate extensively across many teams, internationally and locally, both internally at Apple and externally with partners such as Carriers, Retailers, Banks, SMB’s and Enterprise Resellers, Media Content Providers and more - Inspire and contribute to the large global network of Geo Partner Communications Managers, sharing key takeaways, findings and case studies - International and domestic travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in international account management and/or strategy at an advertising agency or in-house marketing communications for a global brand
  • Experience in brand communications - from strategy to execution to analysis of results.

  • Experience in building global communications strategy for partners
  • Ability to dive deep into a partner’s business, marketing strategy and consumer insights, to understand challenges and find opportunities
  • In-depth understanding of digital platforms (social, eCRM, e-commerce platforms, content, performance marketing, digital in-store) and how they can be leveraged to deliver the most compelling product experience throughout the customer journey
  • Passion for great work, seeing potential and nourishing it, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to drive the work forward
  • Eagerness to drive thoughtful strategy, build innovative communication plans and develop great creative and integrated campaigns
  • Thrive as part of a cross-functional team, flexible and adaptable in a multifaceted environment as a team member, yet also have the ability to lead
  • Ability to build rapport, credibility and influence across multiple collaborators in a highly matrixed organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced business degree
