Interactive Producer, Marketing Communications (Marcom) Korea

The Korea Marcom team is part of the global Marketing Communications team at Apple who are responsible for all consumer-facing communications. This includes advertising, apple.com, direct marketing, Apple retail, channel, packaging, video, corporate identity, and partner communications. To ensure we are prepared to further establish our interactive presence in Korea, we are seeking an outstanding person who can deliver successfully in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment. The position requires a strong digital background with a high degree of technical proficiency required to implement a high-volume and ever-expanding web and email production environment.
As an Interactive Producer in Korea, the candidate will be responsible for leading the localization of global web and email marketing programs as well as leading technical development across multiple platforms as they relate to our region. The role will also require close collaboration across a variety of functions within the Korea Marcom team.
- Orchestrate the deployment of product launch and seasonal campaign content on our apple.com sites and eDM communications in the Korea market
- Flexible enough to act as a team leader or an individual contributor depending on project needs
- Maintain relationships across the business, regularly advising global counterparts and local partners on project status
- Balance multiple workflows and deliver projects against ambitious timelines; help set expectations for the team while keeping all ongoing tasks on track
- Handle interactive project resources and production timelines, and identify critical paths/dependencies to drive projects forward, and ensure quality execution and implementation
- Support internal partners, and their specific needs and promotions (eg: Apple Retail, AppleCare, Product Marketing, and our Services business)
- Work alongside a team of producers and agency partners who provide production, localization, and QA expertise, to launch product campaigns and seasonal / sustaining initiatives in the digital field
- Build strong working relationships with WW counterparts and communicate effectively on the progress of any global initiatives
- Partner with worldwide interactive teams to deliver regional solutions to global marketing challenges, specifically, understanding the intricacies associated with Korea delivery and using this understanding in defining Geo requirements for new platform and process rollouts
- Be a critical liaison for interactive infrastructure-related programs including CMS, translation software, and web development
- Serve as the guardian of technical, production design, publishing, and QA process best practices, ensuring their adherence by all internal and external parties involved in the delivery process
- Keep the team lead and key partners advised as projects progress: red flags, hard timelines, and resource implications
- Increase the focus in our analysis of digital marketing activities so as to form optimal go-forward communication strategies
- Ability to travel Abroad is important for this role
- Business Level proficiency in Korean and English
- 5+ years of work experience in a digital creative agency, in-house marketing communications, or digital marketing department
- Experience managing a wide range of digital projects, including CRM, social, campaigns and large-scale website builds, ideally across multiple countries
- Experience in website and eDM analytics and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Be an eloquent and effective communicator, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical business groups across the company, across diverse teams and partners
- Self-directed, outspoken, and confident, with extraordinary eye for detail
- The capability to work on a number of projects at the same time, delivering on time, on brand and on budget
- Analytical skills to understand sophisticated challenges and translate them into workable options and solutions
- Passion for technology, and familiarity with near-future trends and web technologies
- Flexibility to working during non-business hours as needed, to support projects such as global product launches, campaigns, and other business critical requests
