We are seeking a Carrier Merchandising Program Manager to join our Channel Strategy and Development (CSD) team in Korea. This role is responsible for driving best-in-class customer experiences across carrier and other retail channels by developing and managing Apple’s branded and merchandising programs. You will play a key role in executing both ongoing initiatives and shaping the future of Apple’s presence in consumer electronics stores, carrier stores, premium resellers, and specialty retailers throughout Korea.
Your responsibilities will include leading planning, execution, and post-installation phases of Apple Branded Programs that integrate visual merchandising, fixtures, in-store technology, staffing, marketing, services and more. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams both in Korea and WW to ensure seamless alignment, execution excellence, and continued innovation in Apple’s channel presence.
As the Carrier Merchandising Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Apple’s presence and customer experience across the carrier channel in Korea. You will lead the development and execution of merchandising programs that reflect Apple’s premium brand, drive product visibility, and elevate the customer journey across all points of sale. This role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and strong leadership.
- Deliver best-in-class merchandising execution across the carrier channel, ensuring all customer touchpoints reflect Apple’s brand standards and provide a seamless customer experience
- Lead the end-to-end management of channel branded programs, tailoring global strategies to meet the unique needs of the Korean market. This includes identifying optimal locations through coverage analysis and overseeing the entire deployment process—encompassing design, fixtures, installation, and marketing execution. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Worldwide Channel Strategy & Operations) and external carrier partners to align objectives, ensure compliance with Apple's standards, and drive the successful execution of all programs.
- Drive new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver merchandising excellence and an exceptional customer experience at Carrier points of sale (POS). This includes forecasting of demo unit requirements, ensuring merchandising readiness on launch day, and managing awareness campaigns and experiential initiatives to maximize product impact.
- Manage program budgets and expenses, ensuring financial control, accurate forecasting, and resource optimization
- Business Level Proficiency in Korean and English
- 7-10 years of experience in retail marketing or merchandising leading across diverse teams in carrier or global environment
- Deep expertise in global program management and understanding on consumer behavior with analytical skills identifying trends and developing solutions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously ensuring adherence to timelines and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver clear store communications and influence stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail, a fast learner with a proactive approach, and the tenacity to see complex projects through to completion
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
