Senior Compliance Program Manager

You will help grow a global financial services compliance programme, all in support of ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations while offering amazing financial services products.
This role is well suited for a self-starting independent thinker who loves solving problems, managing complex projects, and learning new subject matter areas.
We’re looking for someone who works well in collaborative environments with minimal formal structure and is comfortable in changing environments with competing priorities. You must possess UK and European financial services regulatory knowledge, a natural curiosity, and the ability to effectively shift between communications styles based on the audience, from technical conversations to executive leadership updates. You must also have experience and confidence in synthesising and presenting a multitude of regulatory issues into a clear, concise and focused message.
We are seeking an Irish qualified lawyer or compliance professional with strong financial services regulatory experience to join our Global Financial Services Compliance team in Ireland .
In this role you will:
Lead local implementation of compliance initiatives.
Ascertain and document applicable compliance programme requirements and ongoing obligations to help facilitate a comprehensive global compliance programme framework.
Work with international legal and compliance teams to advise on local regulatory obligations, licensing, and horizon scanning for regulatory change.
Engage with local regulators and work cross-functionally and globally to prepare and present on local regulatory topics.
Complex completion, coordination and management of local regulatory reports and similar regulatory matters.
Engage with compliance teams to identify best practices and implement improvements. Assisting the team with ongoing improvements to the programme management processes.
Oversee end-to-end initiatives that require the coordination of multiple teams to reach resolution.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Irish qualified lawyer or compliance professional
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively and efficiently across cross-functional teams
- Experience working with compliance tools and content management platforms, including Auditboard and Wrike, and training delivery platforms
