The Facilities Engineer will have a strong emphasis on supporting site operations critical to ensuring consistent delivery and highest performance levels for Soft & Hard Services. You will be comfortable interacting with Apple corporate business functions & customers at all levels and provide structured and / or ad-hoc timely and accurate status reporting.

The successful applicant will: • Have accountability for a specified area of Real Estate and Development (RE&D) operations in Apple Cork including delivery, management and maintenance of facility services. • Manage Facilities functions in Apple Cork designated area of responsibility. Be responsible for stakeholder management related to these functions. • Take ownership of improving the Facilities help desk across the Cork Site, work with our Helpdesk supplier to identify process improvements. • Be proficient in data analysis (spreadsheets assessment) to support business decisions. • Proactively identify facilities improvements (engineering, process, services) and lead a number of programs to support the wider facilities organization. • Manage suppliers to provide site Facility Services to defined standards whilst working closely with our customer. • Support the Facilities Manager in the development of supplier SLA / SOW’s. Drive consistency in supplier resources and prioritize resources as required. • Ensure vendors compliance with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s. • Implement tools, standards, policies, guidelines and processes related to Cork Facilities management standards and in compliance with ISO14001. • Input on Facility Management improvement programs. • Advise and drive improvement changes in Facility Management services at the site level. • Ensure that all assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with appropriate specifications. • Manage Op Ex budget and forecast for areas of responsibility.

Education & Experience

• Degree qualified (or relevant experience) in Facility Management, Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
