As a Transport / Data Specialist, you will be responsible for driving improvements with some of our primary transport providers. This is an exciting and dynamic role within a team of high performing professionals. In addition to handling our providers, you will partner with the wider logistics team as well as our key internal partners. Your work drives how we deliver shipments to our customers, and you contribute in a very meaningful way to making this experience industry leading. Our customer base is spread across EMEIA and will include managing supply chains within and outside of EMEIA. In this role, you engage and manage leading transport providers to deliver a best-in-class experience to Apple’s customers in EMEIA. At Apple, we pride ourselves on our customer facing logistics solutions, and our team is pivotal in designing and implementing these models. This responsibility includes: Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain management and LSP management Strong organisational skills from both administrative and hands-on standpoints. Strong analytical skills. Advanced excel skills an advantage, with the ability to handle considerable amounts of data and use it to draw meaningful conclusions and recommendations vital Proven problem solving techniques essential. Ability to work well under pressure and multitask. Good communicator at all levels, both verbal and written, internal and external. Works well within a team and understands team dynamics. Capable of working individually or as part of a multifunctional team including peers and/or senior managers Self starter that can work on their own initiative. Ability to influence others.. Flexibility - must be able to work as required to fulfill business needs Good knowledge of air/sea/road transportation and logistics concepts. Education & Experience
Minimally 2 years as an account executive or analyst Experience in operations management is a distinct advantage Masters/Bachelors degree level in any of the following disciplines – Economics, Business, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain
