Reporting directly to the Director of SDM, you will lead the dynamic team of EMEiA Supply Demand Execution (SDE) in Cork. We are responsible for leading the execution process for all products to meet demand of products within the EMEIA region (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa). This is a critical role within the Supply Demand Management (SDM) function that provides execution support on a cross functional basis across the wider operations organisation. An opportunity exists for an ambitious, highly motivated professional to join the SDM team as a lead manager to achieve apple’s financial plans by maximising sales with efficient execution across all our routes to market.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant experience - Operations, Planning, Finance experience in fast moving product industry.
  • Degree qualified, MBA highly desirable but not essential
  • Heightened business insight and consumer focus.
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership skills including experience developing teams and supply chain process and systems expertise.
  • Experience setting direction for process and/or tool improvements to support team objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to evaluate, analyse and present data to executive level
  • Excellent prioritisation skills and detail oriented

Description

Lead, manage, mentor and develop a large team of dedicated and focused professionals. Ensure a continued focus on the ongoing development of the SDE organisation and developing the skills base. Drive execution activities to ensure a seamless exceptions based process. Identify, communicate and resolve any issues impacting execution with the critical focus being on the customer. The scope of the execution activities will be managing across the Online, Retail and channel routes to market. Evaluate risks to the execution and implement contingencies to mitigate the weekly plans. Proactively work with the SDM team to ensure supply is positioned to support. Identify execution problem areas, and drive with the appropriate functional groups to resolve. Continue to evolve the management system around execution. Ensure the strong focus on transparency is maintained with ongoing focus on system development to focus on exception management. Drive the execution strategy for more seamless execution - such as exception identification and execution of the resolution as part of a single activity. Drive New Product Introductions (NPIs) execution plans with a keen eye on simplification while at the same time balancing customer requirements and operational efficiency. Play a lead role in cross-functionally stitching across the operations organisation for all key execution activities, particularly NPI. Have the ability to scale from the detail to the higher more strategy perspective to ensure the best solutions are identified across all the partners. Ensure there are strong communications to support an excellent partnership and knowledge across all the Regions (AMR & APAC). Co-ordinate with other Regional SDE organisations as well as WW SDE to ensure that benefits in any Region can be shared on a global basis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine requirements implement the SDE and overall Operations capital project tracks and non capital business improvement initiatives. Particular requirement to drive a focus on “Frictionless Execution”.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree - 3rd level degree essential in IT, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Maths or similar discipline Post graduate qualification would be an advantage. However, if you feel you have relevant experience, you are encouraged to apply
