We are currently in the process of strengthening and expanding our AppleCare Logistics DC Operations Team, and we're looking to hire an exceptional analyst to join our team in Cork. This is a fast moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. Ideally, you will be a self-starter, motivated with deep experience of Logistics Operations (preferably Distribution Centre Operations Management), Business Management and Project Management skills. You will need to be an excellent communicator, work with autonomy on your own initiative and ideally have experience of working within an outsourced environment. - Minimum of 2 years industry experience, ideally in logistics operations or transport operations.
- Good communicator at all levels, both verbal and written, internal and external.
- Proven analytical experience with ability to extract and model data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions and supporting decision-making
- A self-starter, with the ability to work well in pressurised situations, and multitask to deliver multiple objectives.
- Works well with a remote team and understands the associated team dynamics.
This role reports to the AppleCare Logistics DC Manager The principal focus is support of the Trade In programs, new business process requests and operational efficiencies. You'll own reporting on Trends, Achievements and Opportunities. You will manage our Trade In Program with our 3rd Party Logistics Service providers. Support the DC Operational set-up and readiness for event volumes. You will monitor the daily/weekly performance critical metrics. and look for opportunities to enhance Customer experiences. Assist in issue resolution and investigate root causes of critical issues Report on the Trade In activities, and support Dashboard development. Partake and/or lead in projects to expand and enhance the Trade In experience. Identify, lead and support in other operational projects/opportunities to reduce costs and/or enhance services across the AppleCare Logistics in the EMEIA Region.
