Here in AppleCare we are looking for a forward-thinking individual who will be tasked with leading all aspects of Material Supply Planning and Demand Management for a number of our service product lines. Extraordinary operational perfection is a cornerstone of our ability to consistently surprise and delight our customers. We are responsible for material support for all service channel repairs, from analysing regional demand signals and securing regional supply to support Apple’s service repairs in the EMEIA region including Apple Retail (AR), Apple Service Providers (ASPs), End User and also Apple’s wider Reseller Channel. As a Material Planner on the AppleCare Service Materials Team, you will use your initiative and be a forward-thinking person with strong leadership capabilities that will be accountable for identifying and planning the necessary materials to meet the service demand requirements by fulfilling supply to all of our EMEIA Distribution Centres (DCs) This person will have strong forecasting, planning, and coordination skills to prepare for high volume operations preferably in a multinational FMCG environment as well as the ability to work in close coordination with many different business units especially logistics, finance, BPR, Project Managers & Channel Support teams.

Key Qualifications

  • Collaborate closely with global product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet regional service demand requirements
  • Review and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) while implementing strategies, policies and procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring supply is positioned at all regionals DCs to meet Fill Rate targets (FR) while executing material strategies
  • Work closely with regional & global functional teams to execute supply plans
  • Use a combination of tools to maintain supply plans using a selection of system planning tools such as SAP, APO, ACBI, Tableau, Excel & SPT
  • Evaluate, analyse and present data to internal and external partners
  • Report and present executive reviews that are key to driving business decisions
  • Be responsible for the end to end management of your product lines


- 4+ years experience in a supply chain/planning/forecasting/analytical role - Strong data analysis and numeric skills, incl extensive excel usage - Preferable knowledge of SAP, APO, ACBI, Tableau - Extensive knowledge of Inventory management, Planning, Procurement and Reverse Logistics environment - Excellent communicator at all levels (both verbal and written) - Ability to handle change and thrive in a fast environment while multi-tasking and working proficiently under short timelines - Excellent time management and organization abilities - Practical and hardworking approach to problem solving and process improvement - Solution oriented analytical planning skills - Strong work ethic, perseverance and flexibility - Organised and able to react to the challenges of a fast-paced environment - Ability to build effective relationships in a cross functional team environment - A self-starting, innovative individual who also can work as part of a team

Education & Experience

- Diploma in IIPMM - IPICS Certification - Degree/ Diploma in a Supply Chain or Procurement or similar - Comp Science or BIS qualifications are a distinct advantage
