You will become a member of the wider Finance team at Apple. With over 300 employees from a multitude of backgrounds, the Finance department in Cork supports all functions of Apple in EMEIA, including Sales Fulfilment, Logistics, Manufacturing and Operations, Apple Music, Apple Retail as well as part of the Global Business Solutions (GBS) function. You will join our Record to Report, Accounting Hub team. The team support functions such as Revenue, Treasury, Copyright, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Intercompany. We are currently looking for an Operations Accountant to support and manage day to day activities of our busy Intercompany & Inventory team. It is a phenomenal opportunity for an individual who wants to progress in Finance and build excellent business relationships with key business partners.

  • - Savvy in technology, SAP financial solutions, business intelligence tool. Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. EMEIA entities Assist in developing global Intercompany processes while seeking efficiencies in processes through innovative ideas and thinking differently Ensure all Intercompany Supply Chain system driven/automatic postings are correct and accurate Support inventory accounting for finished goods inventory located across the EMEIA region including inventory reserves & other adjustments Responsible for ensuring manual inventory transfers are accounted for accurately in the correct legal entity Support in the development of key inventory metrics and reporting to management Act as a liaison between Corporate Accounting and country local accounting teams in assisting countries to complete close process A key aspect to this role is to develop relationships and work closely with business partners within the inter-company and inventory accounting function This is a key role in a dynamic environment with the potential for the role to develop further with additional responsibilities in line with business requirements.
